Existing lawn and topsoil are removed and replaced with a compacted, free-draining base over a weed membrane, graded so water runs away from the house.

Turf is laid with the pile direction consistent across the lawn, joins are seamed so they disappear, and every edge is fixed securely at the perimeter.
Infill & Handover
Sand infill is brushed in to support the fibres, the lawn is groomed upright, the site is cleaned up, and we walk you through the simple care routine.

What Affects the Cost of Your Installation
No two yards price the same, and any installer quoting a flat rate over the phone is guessing. The four things that move a residential quote most are the size and shape of the area (lots of curves and edges mean more cutting and joins), site access (whether a bobcat can reach the area or excavation is done by hand), the condition of the existing surface (established lawn, old concrete and tree roots all change the preparation required), and the turf you choose (pile height and density are the main price difference between ranges).

Most residential installations take one to three days depending on the size of the area, site access and how much excavation is needed. A small courtyard is often done in a day, while a full backyard with difficult access can take longer. You get a timeframe with your written quote.
A weed membrane is installed beneath the base to block growth from below. Wind-blown seeds can occasionally settle in the infill on the surface, but they cannot root properly and are easily removed by hand or with a brush.

The turf we install is non-toxic and free of lead and heavy metals, and because there are no fertilisers, weed sprays or pesticides on a synthetic lawn, children are not exposed to lawn chemicals during play. It also provides a soft, even surface without the bindis, bare patches and mud of a struggling natural lawn.
UV-stabilised synthetic turf is built for exactly this range. Frost sits on the surface and melts off without damage, and the lawn stays green through winter while natural grass browns off. In summer the surface does get warmer than natural grass in direct sun, which is worth knowing for bare feet on very hot days. A quick hose-down cools it immediately.
